Technical description

The sun visor is designed to reduce the direct weather impact on the enclosure and thus limit the temperature impact in the outdoor environment. The kit consists of shaped stainless steel protective surfaces that are mounted with included fasteners. The flexibility of the design allows the shelter to be positioned at the correct distance from the enclosure to ensure air circulation and maintain weather protection. All components are designed for long-term use in varying climatic conditions. This kit includes all parts required for pole mounting

Mounting options and accessories

To ensure a smooth installation, we offer several custom mounts for our UT series enclosures (S, M and L). In the matrix below you will see which options are compatible

Please note that a wall mount is always included as standard with all models. For pole mounting or needing extra sun protection, separate optional kits are required

  1. Position the mounting plate (3) against the top edge of the enclosure and align the holes with the existing attachment points of the enclosure.

  2. Install the mounting plate (2) with the corresponding screws and washers. Tighten lightly so that the plate can still be adjusted sideways if necessary

  3. Place the sun visor (3) on top of the mounting plate and align the shield so that it covers the top of the enclosure with proper overhang.

  4. Attach the sun visor (2) by pulling the screws through the holes (4) in the sun visor and into the fixing plate. Install washers and nuts. Tighten the screws evenly without overloading the plate

  5. Pass the U-bolt (1) around the pole and through the mounting plate if installation is done together with the Pole Mount Kit. Install washers and nuts. Adjust so that the guard is centered

  6. Tighten all screws and nuts in the order: — mounting plate — sun visor — U-bolt (if mounted against pole)

  7. Check the stability of the mount by pressing lightly on the front edge of the cover and ensure that it is fixed without movement.
