Milleteknik launches three new battery backups with advanced PoE switch.

Description

The market's first battery backup that can handle the PoE+ standard IEEE 802.3at, (30.8 W). Software-controlled switch with, among other things, load balancing and controllable ports. The same output voltage, always 48 V, regardless of the discharge of the batteries, which means that the entire battery capacity can be used. An additional load output, 24 V, is available for operation of other safety applications.

Flexible and the reserve operating time can be extended with our battery box, Batterybox 24 V FLX M.

The product is available in three configurations:

PoE M-switch 4p FLX M - Builds on the NEO platform and has four PoE ports with managed switch.

PoE M-switch 8p FLX M - Builds on the NEO platform and has eight PoE ports with managed switch.

PoE M-switch 16p FLX M - Builds on the NEO platform and has 16 PoE ports with managed switch.

Availability

The products are available at SEG and for sale from 2/10-2023.

Delivery time is 3-5 working days.

The delivery time increases if the number of units ordered is more than 10.

Power supply/Battery backup with built-in Gigabit PoE switch

The battery backup / Switch must be permanently connected and primarily protected with its own group fuse. The facility must be secured to the extent that service and expansions in the facility do not interfere with its operation to a significant extent. The unit must be dimensioned to have an overload capacity of at least XX%. The reserve operating time must be dimensioned for XX hours of power failure taking into account capacity reduction due to battery aging and power draw.

The power supply / battery backup must for example be made by Milleteknik, PoE-serien. The battery backup must be primary switched and well ventilated and have an efficiency of at least 84%. The unit must be lockable with a key and installation instructions in Swedish. Protection for deep discharge, protected batteries, protected load output and protection against overload and overtemperature. The unit must be expandable with battery boxes for extended operating time and be monitored for alarms in the event of a broken power supply or batteries not connected or a tripped load fuse.

Alarm functions must be indicated via potential-free relay switching to the superior system (see passage system, burglar alarm, fire alarm, etc.). Status indication for alarms must be on the front of the cabinet.
